How to use the DataGlass name, logo, colours and type, with the files to do it.

The DataGlass name, logo and colours are trademarks of DataGlass Labs. Sellers meet them in many places: a marketplace listing, a sales deck, a news story, a LINE message. These guidelines show partners, press, customers and our own team how to use them, so the brand looks the same in every one of those places. If a use is not covered here, ask us before you publish.

Dos and don'ts: lockup

  • Do leave clear space of one wordmark height on every side.

  • Don't stretch or squash the lockup.

  • Don't rotate or tilt the lockup.

  • Don't change the colours of the wordmark or the mark.

  • Don't rearrange the mark and the wordmark.

  • Don't add shadows, glows or other effects.

The mark

The mark is an orange tag and a blue pane joined by a line: what a seller sells, and the data behind it. Use the mark on its own only where the name is already clear, such as an app icon, a social avatar or a favicon. Keep it large enough that the tag, the pane and the line stay distinct.

The mark at display size, in its own colours.

Dos and don'ts: mark

  • Do use the mark in full colour on light grounds.

  • Do use the mark in full colour on dark grounds.

  • Don't turn the mark grey or one colour.

  • Don't place the mark on busy patterns or photos.

  • Don't use the mark at low contrast.

  • Don't crop the mark or let it bleed off the edge.

How to use our logos

Do

  • Use the files from this page, unchanged.
  • Leave clear space of one wordmark height around the logo.
  • Use the lockup where there is room, and the mark alone only where our name is already clear.
  • Pair the logo with plain, factual copy.

Don't

  • Use the logo in a way that suggests we endorse your product or service.
  • Combine it with your own logo to make a new mark.
  • Use it in the name of a product, app, company or domain.
  • Animate it, other than with our own motion.
  • Use an old version of the logo, or one copied from a screenshot.

Two colours anchor the brand: DataGlass orange and logo blue. Both come from the mark and never change. Everything else is neutral: pure greys, from white to near black, carry the text, surfaces and lines. Orange is an accent that draws the eye to one thing at a time. Never use it to fill buttons or large areas.

  • DataGlass orange

The accent: a highlight, a heading as it appears, a link on hover. Never a button fill or a background.

  • Logo blue

Typography

Inter Thai Loopless is our one typeface. A single family covers English and Thai, so both languages read as first-class. Headings are set at weight 500 and text at 400. Thai lines get more leading than English at every size, so the marks above and below a Thai line never touch the line next to it.

Partnerships

When DataGlass works with a marketplace, agency or brand, our lockup and the partner's logo sit side by side at the same height and equal visual weight, divided by a thin rule. Every partnership lockup needs our written approval before it is published.
